A 1/1 (one-of-one) is a card with a print run of exactly one, the only copy that exists. It is stamped 1/1, and there is no second. That absolute scarcity makes 1/1s the most sought-after cards in the hobby.
It depends on the player and the card, but 1/1s carry the biggest premium of any serial number because supply is capped at a single copy. A 1/1 of a star or a top rookie can sell for many times an ordinary numbered parallel of the same card.
